How we handle personal data

This site is the presentation page of a practice. It asks for no sign-up, has no form and sells nothing. Even so, opening a page leaves technical traces, and writing an e-mail hands over a name and an address. The points below say, one by one, what we do with that and what Brazil's Lei nº 13.709/2018 (the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, LGPD) guarantees you.

1

Whose policy this is

The party answerable for everything here is DANIELA PINHEIRO PSICOLOGIA E PSICANALISE LTDA, CNPJ 56.078.289/0001-16, which is a Brazilian sociedade empresária limitada (limited liability company) with its seat on the fifth floor of Rua Antônio de Albuquerque 749 (room 501), Savassi, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. In the law's vocabulary, that company is the controller for everything described below.

2

What reaches us when you visit

These pages are served by a third-party host, which records on its servers the IP address of whoever connects, the date and time, the page requested and the browser's identification string. That is the technical log common to any website, kept to keep the service running and to fend off abusive traffic. We add nothing to it and do not consult it as a matter of routine.

The typefaces are fetched from Google's servers at the moment the page opens; to deliver them, Google receives your browser's IP address. Beyond that, the site sets no cookie of any kind, embeds no visitor counter and loads no third-party script.

3

What reaches us when you write

The only way to reach us from here is e-mail, opened in your own application. When you write, we receive whatever you chose to put in the message: usually a name, a reply address and the reason for getting in touch. We use that only to reply and, where it applies, to arrange a first conversation.

What a person says in a session is not processed by this site and never passes through it. It sits under the professional confidentiality of psychology, which predates and is stricter than any rule on this page.

4

Third parties that touch this data

  • The company that hosts the site, through the technical log described in point 2.
  • Google, through the loading of the typefaces.
  • The provider that delivers and stores the practice's mailbox.

None of them receives the message you write to us beyond what is needed for it to arrive. We do not sell, hand over or cross-reference visitor data with anyone, and we send no communication you did not ask for.

5

How long each thing is kept

The server's technical log is erased by the host itself within the short period it defines. An e-mail you send stays in the practice's mailbox while the exchange is open and, after that, for as long as the law or a professional obligation may require; once that period ends, it is deleted.

6

What you may ask for, and how fast we answer

The law gives you the right to know whether we hold anything of yours, to see what it is, to have a wrong entry put right, to have an unnecessary one erased, to have processing halted or to have everything handed to you in a readable format. You may also withdraw a consent you once gave and ask with whom we shared what.

Write to the address in point 9. We answer within 15 business days (15 dias úteis), and if a request cannot be met we explain why in writing. If the answer does not satisfy you, the next step is the Brazilian authority for the matter, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), whose site is gov.br/anpd.

7

How we keep it

The site is delivered only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The practice's mailbox is protected by a password and two-step verification and is read only by the owner of the company. We keep no spreadsheet, register or database of visitors.

8

When this page changes

If the way we handle data changes, the text here changes with it, and the date at the end of this page moves accordingly. There is no notice by e-mail, because we keep no mailing list. What counts is always what is published at this address.

9

Whom to write to

The person in charge of personal data (the encarregada, in the terms of the law) is the owner of the practice herself. Any request, question or complaint about this policy goes to contato@dancraz.com, with "personal data" in the subject line to make sorting easier, or by post to the address in point 1.
